Gabby is 11?!

Today my baby girl turned 11 years old. (I had her when I was only 15..lol) We had lunch at school and brought a cookie cake from the mall. I let her do something tonight that my mom and dad never let me do...she had a friend spend the night on a school night. (I always wanted to that but never could..) We took them to Denny's for dinner.(because kids eat free on Tuesday nights...the Randy Graves in me lives on!) I can't believe that 11 years ago toady I started this crazy journey of parenting. I can remember thinking after everyone was gone and Edgar and I were alone in the room holding her and looking at her in absolute amazement, "What do I do now?". It's unbeleiveable how many mistakes I've already made with her and yet she is truly wonderful. I hope the next 11 years, and beyond, are just like the first. I know I repeat myself often, but she really is amazing. Who knew in that tiny room in Tyler, Texas how radically our lives would change.....for the better. Happy Birthday Madison Gabrielle
I love you!!! (my have we changed!)

Hi, it's a very great blog.
I could tell how much efforts you've taken on it.
Keep doing!

Awwww....I SO remember being there for that picture and going to get mashed potatoes afterwards for you. Its so weird to think back to that time and realize 11 years have gone by.

It's sad that your Mom would not let you have friends to spend the night during school! LOL
I guess this and the fact that you had to wear bread sacks over your shoes in the snow totally warped you.

No, Seriously, Olivia would like to give Gabby the following message:

Happy Birthday Gabby! I'm dreading turning 11 - I really like being 10. Since you've already arrived in the land of 11, do I have anything to fear?
-Olivia

P.S. Eli misses Jaden - a bunch!

I hope that Gabby had a wonderful day....WOW "11" already?? I can remember wanting to have a friend stay the night with me during school and I think I finally got to when I was about "16". Anytime you want to do a sleep over during the week, just let me know and you can come over and we will have a party!! Enjoy them while you can because before you know it, they are in college and not coming back but to just spend the night.

I love the pics of you and Gabby. But girl....those are some pink lips!! I take it you wanted to match her paci....hehe.
